Questions before an ethics audit?

An Ethics Audit evaluates one named system or design proposal across multiple ethical traditions. It includes a written report with severity-tagged findings and a cross-tradition rationale for each, plus a 60-minute team readout. Ongoing review, multi-system portfolio audits, board-facing memos, and regulator filings are outside the fixed audit scope.

A discovery call comes before any scope is locked. Scope is shaped around the question, system complexity, document volume, and systems in view, then recorded in the engagement letter. An Ethics Audit covers one named system or design proposal; broader or ongoing work may fit an Advisory Retainer or an Eval Sprint.

An Ethics Audit takes roughly four weeks. An Eval Sprint runs two to four weeks. An Advisory Retainer is monthly and ongoing, sized to the team’s cadence.

A mutual NDA is signed before evaluation data is shared. Evaluation data stays on encrypted infrastructure during the engagement and is deleted at close or returned on request, as stated in the engagement letter. The client owns the deliverables, and Axiom does not publish findings without written consent. Consulting does not establish attorney-client privilege; clients should coordinate any privilege questions with outside counsel.
